Nilai Jam Kredit ini dikategorikan di bawah komponen โYuran Pelajaranโ. Yuran LI juga dikenakan kerana terdapat perkhidmatan yang diberikan oleh Universiti kepada pelajar walaupun tidak berada di dalam kampus. Terdapat skim perlindungan pelajar yang merangkumi pelajar yang menjalani Latihan Industri. Skop perlindungan di bawah Skim Perlindungan Pelajar adalah seperti berikut: (i) Manfaat Kematian (Disebabkan Penyakit) (ii) Manfaat Kematian (Akibat Kemalangan) (iii) Hilang Upaya Kekal (Disebabkan Penyakit) (iv) Hilang Upaya Kekal (Akibat Kemalangan) (v) Elaun Harian Hospital (Disebabkan Kemalangan sahaja) โ Maksimum sehingga 30/hari/Hospital Kerajaan sahaja. (vi) Perbelanjaan Pengebumian (vii) Perbelanjaan Penghantaran Pulang Jenazah Jika berlaku sebarang kemalangan, para pelajar boleh maklumkan kemalangan tersebut kepada penasihat akademik masing-masing supaya dilanjutkan pada pihak yang berkenaan.
