Pharmacy Unit Background

Pharmacy Unit is part of the clinical support services available in UTM Health Centre. Our patients are among students, staff, staff’s dependent, pensioner and spouse.

Currently Pharmacy Unit in UTM Health Centre Johor Bahru is helmed by 1 Pharmacist, 3 Pharmacist Assistants and 1 Health Attendant. 

The Pharmacy Unit is responsible for the following activities:

1. Management of procurement and distribution of drugs and consumable items for other units in UTM Health Centre.
2. Dispensing of pharmaceutical products to patients.
3. Patients counseling on use of drugs.
4. First Aid Kit services.
