UTM Green DNA Society had organized Green DNA Recycling Programme on 16th November 2018 at N01, School of Chemical and Energy Engineering(SCEE). In conjunction of rising the awareness of UTM students about the importance of recycling and to improve the understanding about the proper way to segregate waste through recycling, Green DNA members had taken active participation as committees and made a successful starting for this programme.

Boxes were being placed on each level of the building N01 of SCEE. The main aim of this programme is to collect and recycle back those unwanted paper, thesis, book etc from lecturers and UTM staffs rather than just dispose directly to minimize the waste produced. Green DNA Recycling Programme is to encourage the whole campus to participate in the recycling and waste minimizing effort in order to maximize the recycling effort and accomplish the UTM recycling objectives: to conserve energy, recover resources, protect the environment and save on disposal costs.
