‘Biobaja Komuniti’ Workshop

The Layang-Layang group, which is one out of the two groups from UKQA2092-02 Sains dan Komuniti (Community & Science) organised a workshop called “Biobaja Komuniti” previously on 14th April 2017 at Pusat BioBaja MRTC Layang-Layang that involves lecturers from UTM, teachers from SJK (C) Pulai and local villagers of Layang-Layang.
 

Under Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lee’s guidance, the aim of this event was to educate the local community on how to produce organic compost themselves by using food waste + green waste and EM (Effective Microorganisms) that are beneficial to the community and Earth.The bio-compost produced are low-cost, clean and effective which promotes sustainability and contributes towards a better environment for the world!
