Greeting everyone!<\/p>\n

On 15th May 2014,\u00a0UTM has sent a delegation to China University of Petroleum-Beijing (CUPB) to participate in the forum named ‘Future Petroleum Engineers Forum 2014’. \u00a0This event came with theme ‘The Promotion of Sustainable Development of Oil and Gas Resources’. Some competition participated were the Offshore Drilling Platform Design Competition, Paper Contest and ShellBowl International Petroleum Knowledge Contest.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the champion of National Petroleum Engineering Design participate by Hii Sing Kiet, Chair Chi Suang and Jesten Nigeil. For the 1st and 2nd runner-up also won by UTM students participated by Hussein Anwar, Mohd Luqman, Faiz Mazlan, Ahmed Gamal, Emmanuel Yick Sing, Zulfadzly, Adibah Salleh and Sharina Zakariya. This contest was to create a good platform for students to learn and show their abilities, promote a communication of young scholars in the field of petroleum engineering.<\/p>\n

Congratulations also go to the group that won the 2nd runner-up for the Offshore Drilling Platform Design Competition. They are Muhaizul Fikar, Natalie, Aizudin Akmal, Norfadila and Muhammad Afifuddin. The Competition was divided into two parts: design and making the platform, display and judging the model. And then, it is necessary to make a presentation about their models. At last, they need to answer the questions from the judges and also from the audience.<\/p>\n
