SPE-UTM\nSC A DAYTRIP TO PETROSAINS 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPE-UTM SC A DAYTRIP TO PETROSAINS\n2019 <\/strong>was\norganized on 23rd<\/sup> February\n2019<\/strong> at Petrosains, KLCC, Kuala\nLumpur<\/strong> aimed to enhance students\u2019 interest towards the true-to-life oil\nplatform. The event also provided the opportunity for the students to\nexperience the real working environment in the petroleum field, which would be\nthe best platform for students to gain new knowledge with actual experience\nwithin oil and gas industries. Not only that, this was also another way for\nstudents to gain scientific knowledge in other science-related fields through hands on<\/em> approach that were provided in\nvarious exhibits in Petrosains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was participated by 35 participants<\/strong>, local and international UTM students, mostly from\nsecond and first year students from various faculties. The event started off by\ngathering the participants early in the morning to be able to arrive at\nPetrosains at 10:00am. This trip was followed by 2 event committees to guide\nthe participants throughout event. Around 5:30pm, the students gathered and\ndeparted back to UTM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this event, the students managed to gain new scientific knowledge and experiences from analyzing, describing and relating information from the Petrosains exhibits with the theories that they learnt in class. It has been an amazing experience for the students and perhaps this could inspire them to continue pursuing their studies with more enthusiasm and motivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
