Greetings brothers and sisters!
SPE Intellectual Day’ 2 2014 (SID 2’14) is successfully organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE-UTM) Student Chapter on the 26th of April 2014. This program includes 3 sub-events, which are Seminar on Public Speaking, Oil Rig and Petrobrain Competition.
This event will be much more challenging and will give you a superb experience in terms of skills and knowledge about oil and gas industry. There is also a talk on how to deliver a good public speaking.
This event has achieved the main objectives based on the activities that were carried out. Students were given the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in oil and gas industry. For your information, thisSPE Intellectual Day’2 is one of the most important events organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) – UTM Student Chapter in cooperation with Faculty of Petroleum and Renewable Energy Engineering. This program acts as a platform to boost up the competitiveness among SPE members and prepare them before they face the real world in which they will need to compete with people from all over the world. This is a good opportunity for all the SPE members to enhance their knowledge in oil and gas industry thus widen our exposure about the field that they are going into in the future.

1) Petrobrain- 3 persons per team
2) Oil rig- 3 persons per team
3) Paper presentation- 4th year students
