SCEAD 2011
SCEAD 2011 (SPE-UTM CULTURE EXCHANGE AND AWARD DINNER) was the first event of its kind to be organized with an aim of fostering great bonds, held by SPE-UTM Student Chapter. Its committee members comprised of both local and international students, led by directorSyuhada Zaukifli. The event program comprised a multitude of cultural performances and activities. This meaningful event will be the stepping stone to promote the communication between international and local students.
The event began with the giving away of awards as well as tokens of appreciation to outstanding SPE-UTM members who have exceeded expectations in the 2010-2011 chapter, giving much of their time and effort to SPE-UTM. These were a few of the awards as well as its receipients:

The night was celebrated with dance performances of several ethnic choreography, by students from various local as well as international backgrounds.
Several featured local dance performances were traditional Southern (Johor) Peninsular Malaysian, Northern Peninsular Malaysian and Eastern (Sarawak) Malaysian.
To much of the International students’ delight, dance performances of their local traditions were also featured. These included Yemini, Irani, Saudi Arabian as well as Somalian.
