NESS PRESIDENT 2019/2020
Welcome to NESS!
I’m very proud to be in the position to lead and serve the Nuclear Engineering Student Society (NESS) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia as the 2019/2020 president. On behalf of the 2019/2020 council members, it’s an honour to be in this important work and in continuing the magnificent work of the past high committee. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the former council for the contribution and achievements in ensuring that NESS continue to strive forward.
As NESS members, we believe in the motto of ensuring greatness by cooperation. I believe that strength comes with numbers, we gather together under a banner and do our best to be the warriors to overcome any obstacles. Together we can work on the best solutions to the challenges we will doubtless face as a society.
From the start of NESS until now, we have formed countless bond and relations with bodies all around the globe. From being affiliated to Malaysia Nuclear Society (MNS), to cooperation with national and international agencies such as Malaysia Nuclear Agency, Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB) and also International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). We are highly committed in ensuring the networking with industries and bodies in the nuclear industry with no regards to the nationality, ethnicity or religion to achieve our goal in spreading the positivity and gives nuclear a good reputation.
As part of that, we’ll be focusing on building on activities identified as ‘of great value’ to our members and also society around us.
NESS has been my identity, that I hold dear in my heart and I have never regret or doubt the ability and worth that it brings. I solely believe we can soar higher and on behalf of my fellow council members, we will do our best to ensure that we achieve our goals.
