JOHOR BAHRU, 16TH November 2019 – The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Student Section (IEM-UTM SS) had organised “A Date with Engineers 2.0” forum, which held at DK5, P19, UTM Johor Bahru.
“A Date with Engineers 2.0” forum aims to expose student with Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the preparation for it. Apart from that, the forum also discusses the quality that should be possessed by a fresh graduate engineering student.4 speakers were invited in this forum, namely Ir. Lim Gee Zhiong, Mr. Wong Chin Liang and Ir. Benee Chng Yu Leng and Dr. Eeydzah Aminudin. They are experts in different field but all of them have vast experience in engineering.
A total number of 136 participants was recorded in the participant form. Kahoot game and lucky draw were held during the refreshment and networking session. A grand lucky draw sponsored by IEM-UTM Student Section which is a free ticket to “Explore to Singapore” was won by an international student. The forum was ended with giving of token of appreciation to speakers and a group photo.
