{"id":379,"date":"2018-07-16T15:33:43","date_gmt":"2018-07-16T15:33:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/studentaffairs.utm.my\/greendnaclub\/?p=50"},"modified":"2022-03-19T08:38:55","modified_gmt":"2022-03-19T08:38:55","slug":"50","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/studentaffairs.utm.my\/greendna\/2018\/07\/16\/50\/","title":{"rendered":"International Seminar on Sustainability and Resources Recycling (iSSRR)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n[et_pb_section][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text]INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON SUSTAINABILITY <\/strong>AND <\/strong>RESOURCES RECYCLING<\/strong>\nWe arrived at Shanghai Jiao Tong University on 2nd July 2018 together with 16 students and 10 staffs from Kulai Municipal Council (MPKU) ,our deputy dean of FCEE UTM , Prof Dr Mat Uzir Wahit , Mr Mohd Fauzi Ahmad and our GDNA club advisor Prof Lee Chew Tin. As we arrived at SJTU, we started our program at 2 p.m. by a welcome speech from Assoc Prof Shao Ling Ju secretary of CPC School of Environmental Science and Engineering (SESE) committee of SJTU and from UTM representative Prof Dr Mat Uzir\nWe started our talk by Assoc Prof Lee Chew Tin from UTM to give a speech on introduction of 1st International Seminar on Sustainability & Resource Recycling (iSSRR) and had our first planetary talk by Assoc Prof Jia Li, SESE SJTU and Development of multi functional regenerated cellulose films using ionic liquid solvent by prof Dr Mat Uzir Wahit. After that we visit SJTU campus and Lab tour\n\"\"\nWe visited around SJTU Minhang campus.\n\"\"\n\"\"\nOn 3rd July 2018, we visited Shanghai Academy of Agriculture Sciences\n\"\"\n\"\"\nOur Staff discuss about Shanhai City Minhang District greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau\n\"\"\nOn 4th July 2018 we visited Shanghai WenXin Bio-Technique Co.Ltd, Minhang District , Shanghai. They showed us the process they did on composting the food waste.\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\nOn 5th July 2018 at 9 a.m., all Green DNA and SJTU students started their presentation.\nWe did our presentation by groups that had different topic which was Industrial food waste composting system at Minhang district ,food waste composting in green campus, green township forest city. Shanghai Academy Agriculture Science, Aquaponic system for food security, and sustainable electronic waste management.\n\"\"\n\"\"\nAfter the presentation we had our closing speech by Zhe Chen ,vice secretary of CPC SESE comittee, SJTU and Prof Dr Mat Uzir Wahit\nOn 6th July 2018 which was our last day, we visited recycling center in Disneyland Shanghai.\n\"\"\n\"\"\nMr Tan explained to us about recycling process in this factory\n\"\"\n\"\"[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
