Gas Engineering Students’ Society (GESS) is an organization under Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering (FCEE), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.  The establishment of this society is mainly to create unity among the students of Chemical-Gas Engineering UTM. GESS is also a platform for the students to enhance their interpersonal skills on preparing themselves as a future engineer by conducting programs involving the society members, UTM students and public which includes aspects of curricular and co-curricular activities . Other than that, GESS also organize programs that expose the public to the theoretical and simple technical knowledge on Gas Engineering.
