The Psychology & Counselling Service Centre has grown through the years to better support the emotional well-being of the UTM community.<\/p>\n

It began in 1992<\/strong> as the Unit Perkhidmatan Sokongan Pelajar (UPSP)<\/em>, established to provide basic student support services. As the demand for more structured guidance grew, the unit was upgraded on 21st January 2004<\/strong> and became known as the Pusat Kaunseling & Kerjaya (PKK)<\/em> \u2014 combining both counselling and career services.<\/p>\n

In 2009<\/strong>, the career component was separated to form a dedicated Career Division Unit (CDU)<\/em>. This allowed the original centre to focus more on providing emotional and psychological support, continuing under the name Pusat Kaunseling<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Most recently, in 2023<\/strong>, the centre was renamed as the Psychology & Counselling Service Centre<\/strong> to reflect a more inclusive and contemporary identity.<\/p>\n

Our Journey of Care and Commitment<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Psychology & Counselling Service Centre has grown through the years to better support the emotional well-being of the UTM community.<\/p>\n

The centre is staffed by qualified and registered counsellors<\/strong>, who are committed to providing personal, emotional, and psychological support services to UTM students, staff, and the surrounding community.<\/p>\n

We are here to listen, support, and journey with you \u2014 because your mental well-being matters.<\/p>\nOBJECTIVES :<\/strong>\n\nSTUDENT :<\/strong>\n\nCounselling Centre provides services to student based on the following objectives :\n

i)To build and strengthen self-potential through psychology and counseling approach.<\/p>\n

ii) To enhance self quality from cognitive, affective and behavioural aspects.<\/p>\nSTAFF : <\/strong>\n

Counselling Centre Provides services to staffs based on the following objectives :<\/p>\n

i) To provide psychology and counseling services to overcome personal and family problems.<\/p>\n
